This post is dedicated to and in loving memory of Rowan Ainsley Dunk. It’s hard not to shed more tears as I write this blog, but I can also smile at her memory and how in her short life she was able to bring happiness and light to so many people. This is why photos are truly important, sometimes you don’t realize how much they mean until the people in them are no longer here with us.

As part of the healing process the Dunk family decided to do some photos in remembrance of Rowan and also some with their new dog Shadow. They have also been working with Bereaved Families of Ontario which is amazing organization that is here for anyone in Ontario who has lost a loved one. I don’t know this family, but OMG I totally cried while I viewed this blog. Great moments captured and what a strong family to be able to ‘pull together’ and ‘away’ from this tragedy :( My heart breaks, I could not imagine the sorrow of losing one of my children….
These are amazing. Rowan’s my cousin and it totally made me bawl my eyes out to see the beautiful family. thank you a thousand times over for this beautiful blog.
