Hello! I’m Dana Harper, an award winning, international photographer. Being behind the camera is my true passion in life and I’m lucky enough to be doing what I love for a living. Over the years I've had many amazing and life changing experiences. From photographing so many wonderful couples weddings to fashion shoots on tropical islands to documenting poverty in the developing world, I always have my camera at my side.
I was born on Groundhog Day, 1984 in Scarborough, Ontario. I am now a homeowner with my boyfriend Jody and our 4 cats in London, Ontario, SOHO area. Aside from photography my other passions in life are cats, traveling, music, movies and organic gardening. I listen to all kinds of music, but my favourite bands are The Decemberists, Arcade Fire, Flogging Molly & The Black Keys. My favourite movies are Watchmen, Avatar, District 9 and all Judd Apatow’s comedies. My favourite TV shows are Farscape, Battlestar Galactica, Dexter & Fringe.
My business mainly focuses on wedding and portrait photography, although I love to photograph just about anything. I have a true gift in bringing out my subjects unique personalities and making them feel comfortable. My approach is always fun, easygoing, creative and tailored to the individual needs of my clients.
